Mia Saade is currently a second-year medical student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She graduated from Columbia University in 2019 where she earned her BS in Biomedical Engineering. In March 2020, Mia joined Dr. Balchandani’s lab to continue innovative engineering-based research while in medical school. Her research focuses on employing the enhanced resolution of the 7 Tesla scanner to uncover the structure and function of the amygdala in epilepsy.
