Bei Zhang

BeiBei Zhang ‘s research focus is on the research and development of RF coils for high-field MRI systems. Her goal is to use use full-wave simulations to optimize high-field coil designs for various applications and build the coils. Prior to joining Dr. Balchandani at TMII, Bei worked as a research engineer at the coil core in the center for biomedical imaging, New York university medical center for five years, and she also has two and half year working experience as a RF engineer at Siemens Mindit Magnetic Resonance Ltd before joining in NYUMC. She has a PhD majored in Electromagnetic field & Microwave from institute of electronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
